Joanna Noëlle Levesque was born on December 20, 1990 in Brattleboro, Vermont. She gained fame with her self-titled debut album released in 2004, when such excellent JoJo songs as "Leave (Get Out)" and "Baby It's You," made her a media star at the age of 14. Her mature R&B style and multi-octave vocal range helped make her one of the youngest pop stars of the year and from there her career took off. A third single, "Not That Kind Of Girl," was also hit, and in 2005 she expanded her career to include acting, landing roles in the films Aquamarine (2006) and RV (20 Continued...
