Without the Disney label weighing on him, Bieber has been free to experiment with his style of pop music, having recorded songs alongside artists such as Sean Kingston and Ludacris.

In an unlikely turn of events, in 2010 Bieber was nominated for a BET award for his song â€oeBaby,” a collaboration with rapper-turned-actor Ludacris (no word on when Bieber himself will launch a movie career, but odds are it won’t take long).

A young singer with a soft, Michael Jackson/Justin Timberlake-like voice that is sure to change dramatically as he delves deeper into his teenage years, it will be interesting to see whether Bieber’s career can endure once he outgrows his novel status as a teen idol.
