individual recording artist. Infiltrating the music scene in 2002 with his solo debut Justified, Timberlake rocked the charts with the hit singles "Like I Love You" and "Cry Me a River". His most recent effort, Future Sex/Love Sounds features the number one hit single "SexyBack".

Raised just outside of Memphis, Tennessee, Timberlake ultimately became a teen idol starring on The Mickey Mouse Club at the age of twelve. There he met Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and JC Chasez who he would later form *NSync with following the demise of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1995. Joined by Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone *NSync made their debut in 1996 and eventually became the biggest selling boy band. During *NSync's break in 2001 which later resulted in an official split in 2002, Justin began working on his solo album. The Neptunes' produced lead single "Like I Love You" was released in August 2002 peaking at number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100. The anticipated Justified was issued a few months later in November debuting at number two on the Billboard 200. The follow-up single "Cry Me a River" peaked at number three and later earned a prestigious Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Subsequent hit singles "Rock Your Body" and "Señorita" pushed the Grammy Award winning album sales to over seven million copies worldwide.

In 2003, Justin's single "I'm Lovin' It" was used as the theme song for the McDonald's campaign of the same title. In February 2004, during the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show, Justin accidentally exposed Janet Jackson's breast in what became the highly publicized wardrobe malfunction incident. During the years to follow, the singer made several guest appearances on other artists' tracks notably the Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the Love?", Nelly's "Work It", and Snoop Dogg's "Signs". Justin's new release Future Sex/Love Sounds has been heavily promoted through the hit lead single "SexyBack". The Timbaland produced album features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, T.I., will.i.am., and Three 6 Mafia.
