The R&B group K-Ci & JoJo ruled the top of the charts during the 90’s. K-Ci & JoJo is comprised of Cedric and Joel Hailey, brothers who were once part of the successful group Jodeci. Although the brothers had tremendous success with Jodeci, they branched out from the group after their third album. The first single the duo recorded was “How Could You” for the Bulletproof soundtrack. The next single they released was the hook on 2Pac’s smash “How Do U Want It.”

The Hailey brothers released their first side project in 1997 with Love Always. The first two Continued...

singles released, “You Bring Me Up” and “Last Night’s Letter,” were Top Ten R&B hits. The ballad “All My Life,” went number one on both pop and R&B charts. Love Always went on to sell four million copies.

The follow up album It’s Real was a smash again. Following closely with the sound of their first album, the duo reached number two on the charts with “Tell Me It’s Real.” The groups third album X, celebrated the groups third platinum album in a row. The hit “Crazy” was another Top Ten hit. The group continues to record and rumors of a Jodeci reunion have been heard as well.
