La Roux music biography continued...

2008 with their debut single "Quicksand." The tune received critical acclaim from the BBC, as well as The Guardian, and the duo soon found themselves touring with Lily Allen and set to release their debut album off the Kitsune label in 2009. With a sound emulating such classic acts as David Bowie and Prince, it's a sure bet that La Roux will carry the torch of synth pop well into the new millennium.
