Born in 1986, Lohan rocketed to fame as a child-star with her starring role in 1998’s remake of the Parent Trap. Her relationship with Disney later resulted in other family-friendly hits such as Herbie: Fully Loaded and Freaky Friday, both remakes of films from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

A Little More Personal was met a less enthusiastic reception than Speak, but still sold relatively well—particularly for an album by an actor-dabbling-in-music—a famously awful category of music.
Controversy has continued to follow the actress/singer, including assorted arrested related to DUI, a short jail term and stint in rehab.
Further plans for Lohan’s music career seem uncertain, as her film career has suffered in the wake of failed films such as 2007’s universally disparaged I Know Who Killed Me.
