Lohan's follow-up album, 2005's A Little More Personal, contained some much darker material, including songs such as "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" which dealt with her famously strained relationship with her father.
A Little More Personal was met a less enthusiastic reception than Speak, but still sold relatively well—particularly for an album by an actor-dabbling-in-music—a famously awful category of music.
