Lonestar Music Biography |
Country music band Lonestar hails from their home state of Texas even though they began their career in Tennessee. Originally called Texassee, the band consists of Richie MacDonald, Michael Britt, Keech Rainwater and Dean Sams.
They went on tour and eventually landed a deal with BNA Records where they released Lonestar. Lonestar featured “Tequila Talkin’”, a single that reached number 8 on the Hot Country Charts in 1995 and “No News” which reached number 1 in 1996 on the US Country Music Charts.
Their next album was entitled Crazy Nights (1997). This album fea Continued...

The band also released This Christmas Time, I’m Already There, From Here to There- The Greatest Hits, Let’s Be Us Again, Coming Home, and Mountains. I’m Already There and The Greatest Hits went platinum and Let’s Be Us went gold.
