Mercy Me is a Christian band originally formed in 1994 in Greenville, Texas by Bart Millard, Jim Bryson, and Mike Scheuchzer. After the trio moved to Texas from Oklahoma City and then to Nashville, Nathan Cochran, a bassist, and Robby Shaffer, percussionist, were added to the ranks.
In 2001, Mercy Me signed with INO Records and created their first album Almost There which contained the hit single, “I Can Only Imagine” and earned them American Music Award nomination. Their second album in 2002 called Spoken For earned them another American Music award this time fo Continued...

I love mercy me I wish they would come to my church sometime b/c there my favorit band ever and there sont i can only imagine brings me to tears everytime i listen to it b/c its so inserational and i love it
