Milow music biography continued...
He was first heard of in the 2004 Humo's Rock Rally, a Belgian contest for rock bands, in which he reached the finals. Milow self-released his debut album, The Bigger Picture, in early 2006. It yielded the smash hit "You Don't Know, "which stayed on Belgium's national singles charts for 42 weeks and catapulted the album to gold status. As a result, Milow was presented with a TMF Award for Best New Artist and VRT Radio 2 ordained him the "Most Promising Newcomer of 2006." In 2008, Milow released his sophomore effort-- Coming of Age-- off his Homerun Records/Munich Records. At the beginning of 2008, he won three Belgian Music Industry Awards (Best Music Video, Best Breakthrough, Best Song) for his work on the song Ayo Technology and the album as a whole. In 2009, he followed with a self-titled album. "I'm glad for every dream I've been able to realize and for every plan that has come to fruition," Milow has said. "But the very minute one obstacle gets crossed, I start looking out for the next one ahead. I'm afraid I can't help it. It's just the way I am." Fans couldn't be happier.
