Night Ranger has been pumping out hard rock songs since 1981 and it looks like there’s no end in site. Originally called Rangers, the band’s original members were Jack Blades, Kelly Keagy, Jeff Watson, and Brad Gillis. Together, the band truly captured the sound of rock music for their decade.
Their debut album Dawn Patrol, released on Boardwalk Records, was a huge hit for the band. “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” was the band’s most successful single off the album. After this album, Night Ranger changed their record label to Camel/MCA where they released Midnight Continued...

Madness. On this album were the popular songs “Sister Christian”, “When You Close Your Eyes”, and “(You Can Still) Rock In America.” The band released 7 Wishes, Big Life, and Greatest Hits before breaking up in 1989. Some songs from Big Life were actually featured in Pretty In Pink, 16 Candles, and Teachers.
In 1996, the band reunited for a tour and released a new album Neverland. They also released The Best of Night Ranger in 2000 and plan to release a DVD soon proving that the world has not seen the last of Night Ranger.
