With their Gypsy King-like guitars and Eurodance elements, the trio of singers known as No Mercy took the clubs by storm in the 90s and have reemerged in the new millennium as well. The group evolved in 1995 when German producer,

an agreed and No Mercy was born. In1996, the group released their debut album, My Promise, which produced two Hot 100 Top 40 hits, including "
Where Do You Go" (a cover of La Bouche's "Where
Do You Go"), which hit number 5, and "
Please Don't Go" which reached number 21. In early 1997, No Mercy released a romantic ballad titled "
When I Die", from the same album. In 1998, the band came out with a remake of Exile’s 1978 number 1 hit, “Kiss You All Over,” which became a number 1 hit on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, establishing the band as dance club staple.
No Mercy's second album, More, was also a success in the clubs and included such singles as "Hello How Are You", "
More Than A Feeling" (originally recorded by Boston) and "Tu Amor.” In 2002, a single, "
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", was released to gauge support for No Mercy's third album, but Farian decided to instead rework the songs for solo artist Daniel Lopes' debut album, Shine On, in 2003. No Mercy are featured on the track "Summer Angel" of Lopes' album. It wasn’t until 2007 that No Mercy’s third album came out. Called Day By Day, it was released by a new Australian-based independent record label, making their break from Farian complete.
