Omarion, the former lead singer of the popular R&B group
B2K released his solo debut O in February 2005 following the breakup of the band in January 2004. The lead single “O” peaked in the Top 40 at number 27 while the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Born Omari Ishmael Grandberry on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California, he began singing and dancing at the age of five. He joined B2K when he was 15 and enjoyed the mass success generated by their number one hit song “Bump, Bump, Bump”.

Marques Houston in You Got Served. He later appeared in the movies Fat Albert and the Disney film The Proud Family Movie, as well as guest starred on the television shows One on One, Cuts, and The Bernie Mac Show. In February 2005, he issued O which generated the singles “O”, “Touch”, and “I’m Tryna”. Despite the album’s debut at number one, it proved to be a commercial disappointment barely selling 500,000 units. Meanwhile, he gained further attention when he was featured on rapper Bow Wow’s number four hit single “
Let Me Hold You”. Omarion is currently working on completing his sophomore album entitled 21, which was released in late 2006. The lead single “Entourage” was leaked through the internet as well as the tracks “
Impossible” and “Fool With You”. The music video for “Entourage” debuted on BET and features his former B2K bandmate Lil’ Fizz.
