Saliva music biography continued...
Josey Scott, guitarists Chris Dabaldo and Wayne Swinny, bassist Dave Novotny, and drummer Paul Crosby. Saliva was a finalist in the 1997 Grammy Showcase sponsored by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, releasing their 13-track self-titled debut on their own label shortly thereafter. The band broke through with their 2001 major label debut for Universal, entitled Every Six Seconds. A year later, they came out with their third studio album titled Back Into Your System, which peaked at #19 on the Billboard 200. Back Into Your System launched one of Saliva's most successful songs, "Always," which reached #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Modern Rock Chart. Three years later, Saliva released Blood Stained Love Story, which repeated Back Into Your System's chart performance at #19 on the Billboard 200. Its first single, "Ladies And Gentlemen", reached #2 on the Mainstream Rock Chart. Back in the studio after extensive touring, Scott says the group's next album will be "45 minutes of ass-whooping." Saliva fans can hardly wait to get their asses whooped.
