The band became caught up in the 60’s LSD explosion that lead to the Animals break up. Burdon and Valentine become entranced with the drug while the rest of the band was sick and tired of their band-mates habits. The band briefly reunited in 1977 but would never recapture the success and spark they once had in the 60’s.
