There Nelson released his "Willingly," a duet with his wife Shirley Collie and "Touch Me" which were both top ten singles. "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" was a huge hit unexpectedly because of the single guitar and piano used. After the success of Nelson's work at Colombia, RCA released a compilation album called Wanted: The Outlaws! using older material from Nelson, Tompall Glaser, and Jessi Colter. The compilation album created a series of hits for Nelson yet again with "Good Hearted Women," a duet with singer Waylon Jennings. Nelson continued his success throughout the '70s with a series of Top Ten hits.
Although Nelson has had tremendous success as a country singer, he owed the IRS $16.7 million in back taxes. After releasing several albums Nelson was able to pay back the IRS and put his name back in the spot light. Nelson can be seen on television commercials and movies now. He continues to record music, releasing albums on independent labels.
