About REQUIEM...
The Requiem soundtrack is as dark and brooding as the Requiem movie it accompanies. Released in 2006, this German language film stars the award-wining German actress Sandra Hüller. It is based on the true story of Anneliese Michel, a 23-year-old student, who died of starvation after an exorcism in Miltenberg, Germany (1976).
The plot of the Requiem film revolves around a young woman with a strict religious upbringing, Michaela, who is begins suffering from inexplicable seizures. She moves away to college only to find herself descending deeper and deeper into madness and seeking the help of a priest to battle her demons.
