In the battle for freedom, the Looney Tunes characters (…yes the Looney Tunes) seek the help of the greatest basketball player of in the history of the sport – Michael Jordan – to help them defeat a force from outer space which seeks to enlist the ‘Tunes as slaves in their extra-terrestrial theme park.

In the Space Jam movie - Swackhammer, owner of the amusement park, is looking to spark some interest in his park by creating an exhibit featuring the Looney Tunes. As such, he sends the Nerdlucks down to Earth to collect the ‘Tunes and bring them back to him. Bugs Bunny, on the other hand, has other ideas and challenges the Nerdlucks to a game of basketball – citing their diminutive size (…how could they possibly lose, right?). The Nerdlucks, not to be outsmarted, “recruit” the help of NBA superstars Patrick Ewing, Sean Bradley, Mugsey Bogues, Charles Barkley, and Larry Johnson. In response, Bugs Bunny manages to persuade NBA legend Michael Jordan as a last hope for a Looney Tune victory.
